* FEAST DAY MASS St. Francis Healthcare System celebrates the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi with an 11:30 a.m. Mass Oct. 3 in the chapel at Hawaii Medical Center West. Call 678-7105.

* UH PLAN The University of Hawaii conducts a meeting on its strategic plan at 1 p.m. Oct. 4 at UH-West Oahu, Classroom 104, on the Leeward Community College campus.

* FUTURES SUMMIT The Hawaii Futures Summit welcomes a community of strategic thinkers to discuss issues critical to shaping Hawaii’s future. The two-day event runs Oct. 5-6 at Ihilani Resort and Spa. Call 387-8862.
