* OKINAWA FAIR Hawaii Okinawa Center has “An Evening in Waipio” craft fair, with 60 vendors, a silent auction, prizes, food and a visit from Santa from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Dec. 5 in the banquet hall at 94-587 Ukee St. Call 676-5400.

* BASEBALL REGISTRATION The Makakilo-Kapolei Youth Baseball League register boys and girls ages 5-15 at Kapolei Safeway from 4:30 to 7:30 pm. Dec. 5 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 9. Call 672-4638.

* PARADES Three West Oahu parades are scheduled for Dec. 8: Aiea Community Association from 9 to 11 a.m. from Aiea High School to Pearlridge Center (429-1282); Gentry Waipio Community Association from 10 a.m. to 11:30 am. in a loop around the shopping center (671-2272); and the West Oahu Holiday Electric Light Parade - featuring the Royal Hawaiian Band - from 6 to 8 p.m. from Kapolei Fairgrounds to Kapolei Hale. Entertainment and games open at 5 p.m., and a tree-lighting ceremony follows the parade at 7:30 p.m. (527-5759).

* DANCERS Students from Rosalie Woodson Dance Academy in Aiea performs at noon Dec. 9 at Ala Moana Centerstage. Call 955-9517.

* POST OFFICE HOURS Barbers Point Post Office will be open for additional hours during the holiday season. From Dec. 1 to 24 the hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

* CHRISTMAS DISPLAY The Aki Ohana invites the public to visit its yard display of popular cartoon characters from 6 to 10 p.m. through Jan. 1 at 98-1297 Ho’ohuali Place in Pearl City. Call 455-9915.

* WAIPAHU MARKET The Waipahu Festival Marketplace is now open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at 94-340 Waipahu Depot Road, offering fresh fish, produce, crafts, refreshments and island-made products. Call 677-6939.

* POLYNESIAN DANCE Na Malama Polynesian Dance Studio in Ewa Beach has open enrollment on Saturdays in hula, Maori, Tahitian and Samoan dancing. Drummers and musicians are welcome. Call 271-9403.
