* POET-TREE Ewa Beach Library celebrates National Poetry Month in April with a poem tree, where patrons can “leaf ” (leave) a poem on its branches. Call 689-1204.

* BLOOD DRIVES The Hawaii Blood Bank conducts donor drives from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 24 at Kapolei High School; 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 26 at Kapolei Shopping Center; 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 27 at the Ewa Town Center Foodland; and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 28 in the Aiea High School library. * BOOK SALE The Friends of Ewa Beach Public Library have a book sale from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 26 in the library’s meeting room. Members may shop from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. April 25 and will be admitted at 10 a.m. April 26. All proceeds benefit the library. Call 689-1204.

* ART EXHIBITION Artwork submitted by keiki in Hawaii’s First Congressional District are on view through April 26 at Pearlridge Uptown Center Court, with an awards ceremony to be held that day at 10 a.m. Call 488-0981.
