The Oahu SPCA has some treats for tricks at its second annual Howloween Fun House, which is open from noon to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the no-kill animal shelter in Kapolei.

Adoptable animals will be dressed in their Halloween best and will be available to meet potential owners during guided tours of the spookified shelter. Anyone who becomes a monthly sponsor for a dog or cat that day will receive a free professional photo with their foster pet.

On Oct. 30 keiki can enter themselves and their furry best friend in the Pet & Pal Costume Contest. Winners will receive prizes and the chance to be featured in a future issue of the West Oahu Islander.

There also will be food, live entertainment and a Haunted Fun House with frights to delight the entire family on all three days.

Admission is $10, but children 10 and under get in for free. The costume contest is open from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday only and costs $10 per entry.

The Oahu SPCA is located in Building 1142 on 91-1839 Roosevelt Ave. Call 754-1519 for further details.
