Highlands Elementary Has Thanksgiving Imu

Pearl City Highlands Elementary School will roast your holiday turkey, pork and hams in a traditional Hawaiian imu as part of its second annual Thanksgiving Imu Fundraiser.

Drop-off will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Nov. 24, with pickup the next day from 8 to 9:30 a.m.

No reservations are required, but you must purchase a ticket for $20 (cash only) from the school office, located at 1419 Waimano Home Road.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the school with its various expenses.

Office hours are 7:30 a.m to 4 p.m. Call 453-6470 for more information.
