Stroll The Mall, Raise $$ For MDA

Del.icio.usThe Muscular Dystrophy Association hosts its third annual Stride & Ride charity walk Saturday at Pearlridge Center Uptown.
Families, friends, schools and businesses are invited to walk as teams to raise money to help in the fight against neuromuscular diseases. All funds raised will go toward more than 400 research projects worldwide.
Each participant who raises enough to fund one minute of research ($85) will receive a Stride & Ride T-shirt. The top fundraising school will win a special school challenge prize, and the top individual fundraiser in the state will win a trip for two to Las Vegas courtesy of Vacations Hawaii.
