Leeward Regional Group’s Holiday Party

The Honolulu Board of Realtors’ Leeward Regional Group celebrated the holiday season Dec. 15 at its annual Christmas party at the Filipino Community Center in Waipahu. In addition to food, live entertainment, winter craft items and a motivational speech by Kumu Keahi Renauld, the Realtors enjoyed a silent auction that raised funds for the Leeward Shelter for Abused Women and Children and the Hawaii Foodbank. The group also brought in more than 500 pounds of canned donations for the food bank.

“Basically we were just celebrating the whole year and honoring the sponsors who put on our monthly meetings,” said LRG member Kevin Miyama. Old Republic Title sponsored the 2010 holiday bash.
