The Pacific Endoscopy Center’s Grand Opening

The Pacific Endoscopy Center opened its doors for a grand opening celebration the evening of May 15 at their new home in Pearl City. Following a traditional blessing ceremony, guests enjoyed pupus and champagne. Although there were plenty of lei and flowers to go around, there were also many generous contributions made to the American Cancer Society during the reception. That’s because, according to the center’s CEO Dr. Yousif A-Rahim, colon cancer, while completely preventable, is the second most common cause of death from cancer for both men and women. The Pacific Endoscopy Center offers convenient access to life-saving colonoscopy treatments and is located at 1029 Makolu St., Suite H. For more information, call 486-0449.
