Waianae Coast Sunset on the Beach

The annual Sunset on the Beach once again took over the Waianae coast to bid one final aloha to the summer season. Despite the hot, hot, hot Leeward heat, the party raged all day with plenty of keiki rides and bouncers, two stages continually packed with live entertainment, and a Craft Marketplace well-stocked with local gifts and ethnic goodies. There were also Wii Olympic game booths, Hawaiian artists exhibiting their wares, a showcase of ukulele and Polynesian dance memorabilia, and a vintage car display - indeed, there was a little something for everyone! The nights cooled off with a showing of two blockbuster films and a fireworks blowout. Sponsorship supported the Making Dreams Come True, Valley of Rainbows youth scholarship foundation.
