Asian Greens To Star At Healthy Cooking Class

Chef Paul Onishi will take his students to “Bok Choy and Beyond” during the November cooking class at Castle Medical Center.

Set for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30 in the hospital’s Wellness Center Auditorium, the two-hour session will include tips on preparing nutrient-rich Asian vegetables and ways to incorporate them into an everyday healthy eating plan. Ingredients may include bok choy, kai choy, hun choy, nappa cabbage, wing beans and mizuna.


Fee is $15 per person; $20 per couple; $10 for seniors and students. The price includes a light meal of several sample dishes, plus written recipes. Payment and registration are required two days prior to the class (Nov. 28); call 263-5400.
