Brigham Young University of Hawaii will break ground Saturday for a new multi-use building and student housing facilities, following the conclusion of fall semester commencement ceremonies.
The multi-use section will house the college’s departments of accounting and business management/hospitality and tourism. It also will feature a student stake center and be located south of the campus stake center on the big circle.
The groundbreaking ceremony, set for 1:30 p.m. with Elder Jeffrey Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles presiding, will mark the official construction phase for the new BYU-Hawaii buildings.
