The eighth annual edition of Castle High School’s Project Grad collector cookbook is in print and available now at local businesses.

Sponsored by the nonprofit Families and Friends of Castle, Paradise Treasures sells for $12 and features a wide range of local recipes handsomely bound and suitable for cooking, eating and gift-giving.

Supporters may buy the cookbook at Windward City Shopping Center (First Hawaiian Bank and Lynette Yamashiro CPA office), Haiku Veterinary Clinic in Adon Plaza, Simply Hair at Kaneohe Atrium, Hair in Action at Haiku Village, Terrance Tajima dental office at American Savings Building and Times Coffee Shop at Koolau Center.

Artist Jocelyn Cheng again has donated her artwork to the cover.

“I am happy to contribute to this fun event, which saves lives,” she said, referring to Project Graduation.

Senior class parents plan the drugand alcohol-free graduation party, with cookbook sales as the event’s main fundraiser. About 275 students are expected to attend next May.

Paradise Treasures also will be sold at the school’s annual Windward Holiday Craft Fair & Taste of Castle Dec. 4, the Heeia Craft Fair Dec. 11 and at other fairs across the island this fall.
