Faculty Art on View In ‘Iolani Show

Gallery ‘Iolani’s annual faculty art show, “Ua Lanipili” (cloudburst), runs through Nov. 21 at WCC, featuring works by the college’s outstanding art teachers Jonathan Busse, Norman Graffam, Mark Hamasaki, Snowden Hodges, Lufi Luteru, Antoinette Martin, Rob Molyneux, Bryce Myers and Jordan Souza.


The highly regarded WCC art department teaches ceramics, design and color, drawing and painting, gallery design and management, photography, screen printing, sculpture, woodcarving and fiber arts. It also sponsors Atelier Hawaii, a six-week summer workshop on classical realism after the European masters.


Located next to Paliku Theatre, hours are 1-5 p.m. weekdays and Sunday, and 6-8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Call 236-9155.
