Del.icio.usCollege Goal Sunday gets under way this Sunday at Castle High School and also at four other high schools on Oahu to assist parents and interested college-bound students in filling out the standard form for the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
The workshop will begin at 1 p.m. in the Castle cafeteria. Students are asked to bring their 2010 tax return (or their parents’ returns, if the student is younger than 24), or W-2 forms and other 2010 income and benefits information.
No advanced signup is needed for the event, which is sponsored by Pacific Financial Aid Association and Hawaii Association for College Admission Counseling with help from four funders.
