Hearing for Indoor Fish Hatchery

Hukilau Foods, Inc., an open-ocean aquaculture farm, is requesting a variance from the state to allow an indoor fish hatch-ery. Hukilau currently raises moi two miles off of the Leeward Coast.

A public hearing will be held by the Department of Planning and Permitting of the City and County of Honolulu at the Frank F. Fasi Municipal Building in Honolulu this Thursday, May 26 at 1:30 pm. Those who wish to testify should submit a written copy of their testimony before the hearing.
