Trinity Christian School will have its spring gala April 2 at Koolau Golf Club, where it hopes to auction off a 2011 Honda Fit, Sports Edition, courtesy of the event’s sponsor, Honda Windward.

The annual fundraiser will run from 6 to 10 p.m. on the theme “E Ola Mau Na Hanauma” (for a thousand generations). The evening begins with cocktails and a silent auction, followed by a buffet dinner, a live auction and music by Kawika Kahiapo and Kaukahi.

Tickets cost $60 and can be reserved by e-mailing .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Proceeds will support the campus building fund and financial aid program.

“Everyone is looking forward to the day when Trinity has one campus to serve students in preschool through grade 12,” said head of school Nancy Shaw. The Christian, college-prep school currently educates students on two separate campuses - on Auloa Road and on Kailua Road - and expects to graduate its first senior class in 2013.

“We are grateful for the wonderful community support from Honda Windward and First Hawaiian Bank, along with many other businesses,” added Jennifer Stoebner, co-chairwoman of the gala for the Parent Teacher Fellowship. “The evening promises to be a memorable event.”

Also on the auction block is a Vacations Hawaii trip to Las Vegas, astronaut training, and offers from Disney World, Ihilani Resort, Royal Hawaiian Hotel and Grand Wailea.
