Islander ‘Police Beat’ Yields To HPD Online

Several readers of the Windward Islander have called to ask what happened to our weekly Police Beat report of crimes, burglaries and arrests in Windward District 4.

The Honolulu Police Department recently changed its system for sharing this information, which makes the Islander‘s detailed column unworkable.

Residents who still want to keep track of some of the incidents occurring in their general area should log onto the HPD website, honolulupd.org.

Once there, click on “Statistics,” then on “HPD Districts and Sector Maps,” then on “District 4,” then on “Report.”
