Ahuimanu Valley’s monthly magic show is back for a Sept. 23 performance with special guest performer Craig The Illusionist a familiar face as Ohana Magic Live!‘s pre-show entertainer and close-up magic specialist, aka Craig Dansie.

Showtime is 7 p.m. Friday in Koolau Magic Theatre, which is an intimate space next to Times Supermarket at Koolau Center. Shows have been selling out and generating a satisfied, repeat crowd, according to The Great Davidio (dentist David Brown). The family program lasts about one-and-a-half hours and is suitable for all ages. The Great Davidio has been seen shooting rubber chickens out of cannons, which may or may not be on the program this time.

Close-up magic by Dansie and balloon animals by Arthur Stout will engage fans outside the theater, starting at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children age 12 and younger. For a $2 discount on presale tickets and details, call 239-6711 or stop by Temple Valley Dental Group.
