Kahaluu Fair Offering Emergency Readiness

An Emergency Preparedness Fair is set for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at KEY Project, offering emergency kits, food storage tips and “how to tackle the storm.”


Planned are demonstrations, exhibits, products, an appearance by TV weather anchor Guy Hagi and representatives from Civil Defense, American Red Cross and city police officers and firefighters.

The event is sponsored by the Kaneohe Stake, Kahaluu Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in observance of the 75th anniversary of the church’s welfare program.


KEY (Kualoa-Heeia Ecumenical Youth Project) is located at 47-200 Waihee Road. For details, call 239-5777.
