Open Mouth At Chorale Open House

Windward Chorale Society (WCS) rehearses ethnic, traditional and master choral works at Windward United Church of Christ every Tuesday night.

But at 7 p.m. Aug. 30 the group will invite the whole world in.

Sopranos, altos, tenors and basses are especially welcome to observe at the open house, and then join the group. No auditions are required.

According to Susan McCreary Duprey, founder and artistic director of WCS, the 90-voice chorale (high school age and up) has performed more than 20 concerts on Oahu since it began in 2008, and new singers always are welcome.

Rehearsals this fall will culminate in a holiday concert in December.
