KEY Project will host its second annual Mothers & Others Breakfast Benefit on May 7 - the day before† Mother’s Day - offering a full breakfast menu, live music and other treats for guests.
Located next to Kahaluu Regional Park, KEY and its volunteers also are preparing a special breakfast entree of kalua pig - two 400-pound pigs fresh from its imu and donated from the nearby Tomei piggery. Also on the menu are scrambled eggs, Portuguese sausage, rice, fresh fruit, coffee and juice.
Tickets cost $10 and are available at the nonprofit agency’s office at 47-200 Waihee Road for either the “dine-in” experience (9 to 11:30 a.m.) or for takeout orders (7 to 8:30 a.m.). The sit-down breakfast is in KEY’s Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Pavilion, where Windward talents Kelly Boy Delima and Johnna Padeken will entertain.
Guests also may browse tables offering plants and baked goods for sale.
