Kaneohe Business Group will get an earful on the city rail project at its May 25 luncheon, when guest speaker Panos Prevedouros discusses “Honolulu Rail: Is It a Done Deal Yet?” and “Hawaii Energy Needs: Mandates and Realities.”

The general membership meeting is set for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pohai Nani, and reservations ($15) are due by May 23 to Joel Kurosaki at 520-1565.

An engineering professor at UH Manoa, Prevedouros also heads the Hawaii Highway Users Alliance and came in third in his bids for Honolulu mayor in 2008 and 2010.
