Hawaii’s Better Business Bureau would like to shred your documents on Secure Your ID Day.

The group will have a shredding truck available from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at three Oahu locations, including Kailua Elementary School, for a mass community shredding event.

Residents can each bring up to two file boxes or bags of paper documents, CDs and floppy disks items that contain information you don’t want in the hands of identity thieves and they will shred it instantly, for free.

The Hawaii BBB also will accept old cell phones for recycling and laptops, central processing units and servers for secure hard drive destruction, also for free.

For more information, call 628-3912.
