Windward Arts Council is planning a “star party” that features wine and pupus in outer space, so to speak.
The benefit opens at 6:45 p.m. April 16 at Windward Community College’s stunning showcase of stars, the Hokulani Imaginarium, featuring at 360-degree stargazing show for starters.
Guests can sip wine and sample various crunchies in the Aerospace Lab, followed by a viewing of the Astronaut film, narrated by actor Ewan McGregor of Star Wars fame. After that trip through the heavens, the crowd returns to the lab to enjoy dessert.
Tickets cost $25 ($15 is tax-deductible) and come with a one-year complimentary WAC membership. Seating is limited.
