The Brigham Young University-Hawaii men’s basketball team is in the midst of a 10-day layoff between games, but the Seasiders return to action Dec. 12, when they host Seattle at the Cannon Activities Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
BYUH, which is the only Pacific West Conference member ranked in the latest Division II poll at No. 17, took a 6-0 record into the weekend with wins over Cal State-Stanislaus, Oakland City, Indiana (twice), Central Washington, Fort Lewis (CO) and Dixie State (UT).
The Seasiders are led by Lucas Alves (13.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per game), Corey Nielson (13.6 ppg) and Wu Tai-Hao (10.8 ppg). Pac West play begins Jan. 3 when they host Notre Dame De Namur.
