Oregon State offensive lineman Jeremy Perry will miss up to six weeks after suffering a leg injury in the Beavers’recent win over Utah, the school has announced.
Perry, who is a former Kahuku standout, was a First Team All-Pac West Conference selection in 2006 and is an Outland (awarded to the top interior lineman) and Lombardi Trophy nominee. The 6-foot-3,324-pound junior was named the Pac-10 Co-Freshman of the Year in 2005 and has started 24 games in his career at OSU. In his senior year at Kahuku, Perry, who is a Hau’ula resident, helped lead Kahuku to the 2002 Division I state championship.
