St. Francis Home Care Honored
St. Francis Home Care Services recently received an Achievement Award of Distinction from Fazzi Associates for being a national best practice home health agency based on its “superior performance in patient satisfaction.” Members of the St. Francis Home Care Services Advisory Council include (from left) Dr. Bradley Chun, Linda Fukuhara, Hazel Downing, Corinne Suzuka, Mary Hennessy-Worden, Stella Wong, Juanita Oclaray and Sister Agnelle Ching.

Star of the Sea Receives $300,000
Dr. Lisa Foster, principal of Star of the Sea Early Learning Center (left), Father Mark Del Rosario, (second from right) and Carola Souza, principal of the Star of the Sea Elementary and Middle Schools (right) recently accepted a $300,000 check from R. Stevens Gilley, executive director, and Peter P.J. Ng, trustee, of the Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation. Half of the pledged amount was granted to the parish and school for capital-improvement projects on the 63-year-old church. The remaining half will be presented next year.
